A Renewed Backyard

Our Drain + Tree team recently completed a clearing project for a residential client’s backyard space. This client wanted a beautiful, clear backyard to enjoy, and we are so happy to have delivered that for them.

When we arrived, the backyard was completely covered in thick underbrush and wiry, twisted tree roots. Initially, it was nearly impossible to walk through the backyard with how densely forested it was.

We began the project by using our mulching machinery. Mulching is a process that includes a large wood-chipping machine to break up roots, underbrush and plant matter into small and manageable pieces. Using this machinery, we cleared the yard of underbrush and roots completely, leaving only old-growth trees.

Then, we put the remaining mulch on the soil. This is beneficial to the soil, as it covers it with nutrients. The cleared space is now perfect for outdoor activities, hosting, and relaxing in the warm afternoons.
